Throughout my career I have been producing a wide range of reports, almost all non-fiction. These include government and client technical studies, a vast array of Power Point presentations, legislative testimony, business strategy reports, often working as a “seller-doer” consultant.
Recently I have branched out into publishing a variety of short-form and long-form content, often doing the ideation, outlining, design, content writing, editing and packaging and marketing. Most of the new content forms spring from my own personal experiences throughout my life and the observations i have made.
Key observations and life experiences in my life have influenced what i am interested in writing about include:
How do American place names get their name? What factors influence the sometimes fusion of explorer, religious, geographic, native american, and early European settlers, and the railroads and U.S. Postal Service give a location a particular name?
What were the noticeable differences between the North and South that continued after the Civil War?
Is there a handbook or solution for travelers to deal with the every increasing travel delays, risks and new technology that exists? Is there a travel checklist, style of behavior, etiquette, and set of habits to protect against the many events that can occur to affect the schedule on is one when they travel?
Climate change. It is occurring, sometimes easy to overlook, but we are already pushing the limits to avoid a potential melt down of our glaciers and life habitat.
Water and energy are inextricably related and need more care, attention and consideration in fostering economic development. In some places we are experiencing limits to growth and the risk of catastrophic outcomes as documented with earlier civilizations.
Space, unidentified aerial phenomena (formerly UFOs) are producing great discoveries and are piecing together how earth and the human species evolved. Is our existence an accidental byproduct of earlier space and astrological events?
As I am getting older I have increased interest in health, exercise, work-life balance and quality human interaction ,,, and yes, laughing. These are key time devotional factors in my life including my wife and her great karma for people and situations.
